Bishop Joseph Toal will celebrate the annual Chrism Mass on Holy Thursday morning, 13th April at 11.30am in Our Lady of Good Aid Cathedral, Motherwell and extends an invitation to all to join with the Priests and People of Motherwell Diocese for this special liturgy.
The Mass of Chrism manifests the unity of the priests with their bishop. It is also an opportunity for the Diocesan Community to give thanks for the Gift of Priesthood, especially in this year when the diocese will be blessed with a number of ordinations. It has an unique and central place in the Diocese's Life and Worship.
Please make a special effort to attend this Mass, a beautiful opportunity to join with the Priests, Religious and People of the Diocese at the start of the Sacred Triduum to pray for our Priests and those preparing to be ordained this summer.
